Endowment
SAPA Endowment
The capital is invested and only the returns fund grants and scholarships, so every gift keeps working for years.
An endowment is a fund that is never spent. The capital raised is invested and only the investment returns go to programmes, so a single gift keeps working for years and decades.
What the returns fund
- Scholarships and grants for lyceum students.
- Support for teachers and educational programmes.
- Grants for alumni pursuing education and social projects.
Principles
- The capital stays intact — only the returns are spent.
- Transparency — we regularly publish the fund's size and reports on investments and spending.
- Professional management — investments are handled by an appointed manager under an approved strategy.
Current status
The association is in the process of registering as a legal entity; the endowment will then be set up as a separate organisation. Until then, gifts are received by a trusted representative and passed to the manager. Every payment is recorded and reflected in our reports.
